ABOUT STRACHAN FAMILY LAW
Megan Strachan founded Strachan Family Law to help clients reach a fair resolution - without wasting a lot of time and money.
After many years of experience working in large firms, Megan knew she wanted to run a different kind of law firm. A specialized, boutique firm focusing on a particular kind of client - family law clients who are highly motivated to find an efficient and reasonable resolution in a cost-effective manner.
In addition to being a lawyer, Megan is also a Registered Psychotherapist. She brings her interpersonal and communication skills to her legal work, enabling her to diffuse conflict and find creative solutions.
What should you expect when working with Strachan Family Law?
Megan is kind and direct. You can expect to feel heard and supported, while also feeling secure that you are receiving an honest appraisal of your options.
In addition to high quality advice, you can count on timely and responsive communication. Megan gives you and your legal matter the attention that it deserves.
Family law involves big decisions about your future - Megan ensures you feel fully informed and confident.

When she isn't helping family law clients solve their legal issues, or helping therapy clients move past trauma, Megan loves being outside. She is happiest in the mountains, running trails, or camping. She trains for a runs ultramarathons, and loves learning new things and challenging herself.
After hours or days adventuring, she prefers to curl up with a book and a cup of something hot - Megan's go-to is a classic cup of black tea with milk and honey, and some cookies on the side!
