What is legal coaching?
Legal coaching is a flexible retainer arrangement where I help you "behind the scenes." You remain responsible for your family law matter (for instance, you would communicate with the other party, attend mediation, etc.). However, I would provide legal advice, strategy, research, and other assistance such as reviewing or drafting proposals, financial statements, or agreements. In short, I offer as much assistance as you ask for.
This kind of arrangement is an excellent option for individuals who want or need to represent themselves but want to have expert support along the way.
What is a Limited Scope Retainer?
Limited Scope Retainers are common when you need legal assistance with a very narrow and well defined legal issue.
The most common Limited Scope Retainers relate to seeking independent legal advice on an agreement that has already been negotiated or drafted (such as through mediation).
